What began as “America’s First Bullet-Resistant Clothing Line,” Aspetto, has fast become a multi-million-dollar international brand, expanding beyond fashion to tactical and defense products for law enforcement, military, federal agents, and government contractors.

Aspetto offers technically advanced clothing with 3A ballistic material that exceeds the NIJ, DEA, and FBI standards.

Following recent operational expansions, including a niche DoD cloud service provider and the acquisition of Pop Smoke Media, the popular military digital platform, Aspetto is on the frontline of the defense industry, at a time when the world is witnessing a devastating crisis in the Ukraine.

Aspetto, the first to create female-focused body armor for the US Air Force, also produces armored vests for Homeland Security, ballistic shields for the Internal Revenue Service, and stab vests for the Bureau of Prisons.

One of Aspetto’s best-sellers is the bespoke Ballistic Suit Level IIIA, comprising lightweight bullet-resistant panels. It can stop a bullet at point-blank range from most handguns and meets testing standards by the NIJ, DEA, and FBI.

Regarding female-focused body armor, “Female Airmen previously had to wear body armor fitted for men which can lead to more injuries,” said CEO and President Abbas Haider. “The new body armor is more form fitting and lightweight allowing more freedom of movement.”

“Innovation is the hallmark of Aspetto,” says CEO Abbas Haider. “Our goal is to cover our clientele from tactical to technical, leveraging our successful wearable and mobile technologies and expanding our enterprise IT and cybersecurity services.”

In addition to wearable protection, Aspetto just announced a new partnership with Brabus Automotive, bringing luxury armored SUVs to America. “Instead of retroactively fitting the SUV with armor, The Invicto is implemented with an entirely new protection system,” said Haider. “The SUV is the new standard for armored vehicles, and our troops deserve the best.”

Regarding the Conflict in the Ukraine: In 2018, Aspetto provided Ukraine with protective equipment (armor, plate carriers, ballistic googles, shields, medical kits and more). Haider says his company is communicating with the Department of State to provide real-time inventory. “I am working around-the-clock with my team to provide defensive gear, medical kits and MRE’s to those fighting for freedom in the Ukraine.”
